Prized Possessions - writing about, or illustrating some of the items that have special meaning for our elves. There are things that are mentioned in our characters' CS forms that don't really get used in stories or art that often. Special jewelry, weapons, keepsakes.

I'm also a fan of contests that involve random pairings. We've done pairings of elves and of situations. Maybe we could do a random assignment of a character and also a random time setting. For instance, Foxtail age 9, in winter.

That's a good idea, Linda. :)

I've made a reminder for myself in my calendar to renew a discussion on contest themes for the Summer Quarter in mid-May. When we last held a poll for contest themes in advance of this year, we had two clear winners, and then a three-way tie for third place. So we had been meaning to hold a run-off vote between those three themes, when we got closer to Summer. (And we will also hold a poll for AU art contest themes.)

So, watch this space.
