Here's a challenge for all of you artists out there: how many of the other members of the tribe have you pictured your character with?

I *love* seeing artwork of our tribe members interacting with one another! So I'll offer to write a 1,000+ word story for any artist who is willing to create art of their own character interacting with each and every member of the tribe (living elves circa RTH 2001; AU not applicable).

I have a question... all at the same time or in different pictures, just so long as everyone is done? (I don't think I have paper large enough to draw a picture with all the living elves in it, lol)

LOTS of different pictures! I think it would be hard to get them all to sit still for a snapshot (although I know Holly is working on that already! )

Hee! (Neither do I, unless I skimp on the detail! I'm slowly assembling a group pic of all the tribe by drawing each elf individually...)

I would imagine that any combo of group pics would work for this. I'm guessing that the main goal is the sense of interaction, or even just that the character doesn't exist in isolation, but that there are other elves (the whole tribe) around. So whatever works -- one on one pics, or small groups, or whatever one wants.

This is an awesome idea, I will work on this! Does it count if we have two characters with ours in one picture? I was thinking of Starskimmer and Otter with Quick Fang, for instance.

Hey, it counts if you have two elves, or three elves, or half a dozen... the main goal of this challenge is to show members of the tribe interacting with one another! I'll love to see everything you come up with!

If folks want, this thread could be used as a place to brainstorm ideas for activities that would allow for characters to be shown interacting -- you know, the kinds of daily-life things that they do together.

Hunting or fishing is always a good bet -- but so is playing games, or swimming, or making things (like nets, or arrows), or helping some of the crafters, perhaps.

Another thing for folks to think about: a lot of stories show the elves interacting; you could always look at some stories and see if there's a scene you wanted to illustrate.
